The Holland America Ryndam wasn't a huge ship, but it carried fewer passengers and provided space for luxurious comfort. The Holland America Ryndam has been retired from the fleet.
The Ryndam's decor included art and artifacts from Dutch exploration in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. The 3-story atrium featured a huge fountain by sculptor Gilbert Lebigre. The "Mix" meeting place had venues for champagne, martinis, spirits and ales. Other amenities included the popular Culinary Arts Center, Greenhouse Spa, Crow's Nest nightclub at the top of the ship, and the two-deck show lounge. Club HAL catered to the kids.
